A Week in the Life of My Black Skinnies-Day 1

Welcome to January's installment of A Week in the Life!  I take 1 item from my closet and wear it for 5 days, 5 different ways!  This month's lucky item are my Black Skinnies from Target.  And here is Day 1!

 Black Skinnies, Blazer, Flats(Target), Gray Shirt(Forever 21), Scarf(Hand Me Down),Necklace(Jewel Kade), Watch(Fossil)


Why don't we just go ahead and start out with a confession?  I totally cropped my head out of the first pick.  It was lookin some serious crazy.  Really  people, I totally spared you on that one!
Anywho, I don't know that I am totally in love with this outfit, but a couple of the things I do like are:

1.  Mixing Patterns:  Mixing the leopard print with the print in the scarf is unexpected(or maybe it is expected since its such a hot trend right?).

2.  The necklace peeping out under the scarf.  I saw this on pinterest and LOVED the idea!

So, I guess, I basically like the scarf?  Since it was the only item with a double mention?
