Do It Yourself-er

I found this great DIY necklace on Everybody, Everywear via Dwelling and Telling the other day and I knew I had to give it a try(even though craftiness is not really a strong trait of mine)!

To get step by step instructions(click here).  I will just share a few of the basics and a few of the changes I made with you!

First I bought my chains at my local craft store, Porter's.  I got both of my chains for $9.21 because they were 40% off...SCORE!

 I also used some leftover ribbon I had instead of leather or suede cord..mostly because it was FREE!  
Following the instructions on Everybody, Everywear was pretty easy.  Even for someone that does not have a crafty bone in their body!

Finished product and it seriously took me like 5 minutes!
